KFC

KFC does NOT stand for Kentucky Fried Chicken - whatever the colonel might say.
In Haslington it stands for “Kids for Christ” and is the Haslington Methodist Church’s form of Sunday School, bringing the good news of Jesus to children of all ages.
We meet on Sundays from 10:15am until 11:45am, and the children enjoy a wide range of activities including singing, dancing, and crafts. We begin by joining our Church family in the morning service, leaving after around 20 minutes for our own session & group work. The age range is from 3+ to 15, and there is a creche for the younger children whose parents are in the main service.
This runs every Sunday morning during the normal Morning Service, at Bradeley Road.

Church Mice

Church Mice (pre-school children) meet every Thursday at 2pm (except during school holidays) at Bradeley Rd coffee lounge. We go into Chapel for a short fun time of praise including games and a story and after about half an hour we go and have a drink and a biscuit. During this time we have craft which fits in with the story of the day. If the children are too young to do it themselves, mum has a great time because she is able to have a good old chat sharing fun and fellowship whilst making something for them to take home! At 3 o'clock everyone either goes home or goes to school to meet big brother/sister. Hope to see you sometime, we will make you very welcome.
